Custom Built 1970 Ford Bronco

1970 Ford Bronco Custom Built By August Garage in Kelowna BC Canada

Classic 1970 Ford Bronco Built By August Garage!

Every now and then we take on some bigger projects that require more extensive work. One of our most recently completed projects is this amazing 1970 Ford Bronco which our team custom-built for a client at August Luxury Motorcars.

Before starting this project we discussed with the client exactly what it is they were looking for and began a detailed build list. This included everything from specific model years to base the build on to the engine, running gear, paint, interior, and everything in between.

Starting out with a relatively clean stock 1970 Bronco, we ensured the body was prepped to be in good condition before having it professionally painted in Ford Grabber Blue!

From there we had a custom tan interior made complete with weather-proof seats to ensure getting caught in a rainstorm with the roof off wouldn’t cause any issues. The end result of tan/blue looks amazing!

When it came to the powertrain, our client wanted something more powerful than what was originally available but was still a well-matched option for this type of build.

Depending on the year and sub-model, the first-gen Ford Bronco came with four engines options, ranging from the small straight-sixes to the more desirable 302 small-block.

For this particular build, we settled on a built 351 Windsor as the best option.
This Windsor 351 was further upgraded with several higher-end parts including camshaft, intake, and headers.

We also installed a 4″ suspension lift courtesy of Toms Offroad to tie everything together and to accommodate the larger tires.

Additional upgrades:
– Dana 20 transfer case w/ twin-stick shifter
– 4″ Toms Offroad Suspension Lift
– 3-speed to 4-speed automatic transmission upgrade
Mickey Thompson Wheels on 35″ tires
– Custom interior w/ family rollbar and weather-proof seats
– Sprayed in Armaguard floor
– Automatic power AMP Research running boards
– LED headlights with halos
– Real wood grain steering wheel
